Laboratory Recruitment Open Day

Recruitment open day held for recent school leavers and new graduates.

Laboratory Managers Glynn Harvey and Martin Dyer gave a short presentation about the type of work carried out by Chemtest, the job opportunities available within the company and the value of the experience and training that are offered to staff.

This presentation was followed by a tour of the laboratory to demonstrate some of the instruments and methods in use and give those attending an idea of how much equipment is needed to handle the number of environmental samples routinely analysed.

Finally, a Q&A session was held over refreshments, with a mixture of long term staff and recent recruits, to allow people to hear what working in the lab was like for those carrying out the day-to-day analysis.
